Deauville - from May 20th to September 17th 2017

THE FRANCISCAINES AS IF YOU WERE THERE!
The Franciscaines – friendly and cultural place opening in 2019 – proposes a new exhibition of its collections outside its walls, at the Point de Vue and on the Boardwalk.

Every summer, the Franciscaines – future friendly and cultural place of Deauville – present its collections outside its walls. At the Point de Vue, you can discover for the first time this year 66 canvas made by André Hambourg, selected among the 536 that made up the donation made by Nicole Hambourg to the City of Deauville. The exhibition is conceived as a journey towards the most popular destinations of the artists, from Paris to the Maghreb, without forgetting the Provence and the Normandy.
Visitors can also discover on the Boardwalk of Deauville about thirty canvas selected among the Franciscaines collections representing the places inspiring André Hambourg. Contemporary photos, drawings and engravings, but also magazine covers or book illustrations made by other artists.

A program including meetings and guided visits is proposed throughout summer.
