Saturday, June 11th / Prologue day

Bay of the Seine: the prologue of the Solitaire du Figaro will be given here on June 11th; the port of Deauville will open its doors on this broad sailing area, which is not dangerous, free from reefs, and very appreciated by sailors. Here they can offer amazing performances and live very nice moments: the variable climatic conditions characterizing the bay spice up the regattas! The organizers ensure: “We'll try to keep the prologue as close as possible to the coast and to Deauville to let the public enjoy this beautiful spectacle, taking into account the draught of these ships with 2.50 m-high keels. For 2 to 3 hours, about forty sail boats will compete with joy”. To attend the prologue, go to the beach. The famous deckchairs of Deauville are waiting for you!
