The building currently hosting the Morny-Club Cinema used to be a Citroën showroom. At the beginning of the 20th century, the cities of the Norman Coast started to become one of the favourite destinations of Parisian car drivers. At that time André Citroën, often visiting Deauville, inaugurated this 2,000 m2 showroom, conceived by architect Georges Wybo in 1926 and strategically situated behind the casino.

This building was transformed into a cinema in 1946 by architect Maurice Vincent from Trouville upon request by Armand Chassain, cinema director in Le Havre.

The Morny-Club Cinema has 746 armchairs distributed over 4 screening rooms.
