The French-style “Sunset Boulevard” bears the names of actors and directors participating to the American Film Festival (in September) since 1975. The Boardwalk is bordered by multi-coloured beach umbrellas to onse side and by the “Établissement des bains de mer” to the other, built in 1923 in an Art Déco-style.

Villa Strassburger

Built in 1907 on the area of a farm that belonged to the novelist Gustave Flaubert’s family, this traditional villa with Norman regionalism style features has preserved the furniture of that time, knickknacks and family portraits. Visits in July and August.

The "lais de mer"

This vast area – situated between the sea and the Boulevard Cornuché – is the favourite playground for bathers, holidaymakers and sportsmen and women. Olympic swimming-pool, thalasso-spa, sailing centre, tennis, fitness trail… It includes the Centre International de Deauville (C.I.D), hosting conferences and major events. Activity: seal your love adding your padlock to the hanging heart (padlocks are on sale at the Deauville Tourisme).

Ports

The municipal port, departure place of several regattas, includes a sailing school. The Port-Deauville with its pontoons, placed in front of the houses, is open for 16 hours per day.
