Ali Zamir

Invited to the Books & Music Festival 2017

Ali Zamir was born in 1987 in Mutsamudu (Comoros Islands). He obtained a scholarship and studied Modern Literature at the Cairo University (Egypt), where he obtained a master’s degree in 2010. While he was there, from 2009 and 2010, he drafted the first version of novel Anguille sous roche. He went back to Mutsamudu in 2001 and held, from 2014 to 2016, the position of Director of Culture and Associative Affairs of the autonomous island of Anjouan.

Ali Zamir participates to the Books & Music festival in the framework of the authors’ residence Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole.
